As we approach the end of the first half of our school year we can reflect on many achievements already this year. Our hard working P&C Association has now installed the Senior Student Playground which is proving to be very popular. This will be a big benefit to the senior students' fitness as well as fun! Our P&C invites participation by parents and community members in its various activities and will welcome your enthusiasm and appreciate all the help you could offer. Students have participated in many representative opportunities - rugby league, AFL, cross country, chess, indigenous leadership camp and readers cup to name just some. We have celebrated various special community events - ANZAC Day, Walk Safely to School Day, Jump Rope for Heart Jump-Off, National Simultaneous Storytime and the Biggest Morning Tea. I trust we all have a productive 2009 and that the wonderful community support we have enjoyed in the past continues. Cameron Wood
